What's The Difference Between Hosted and Self-Hosted?
Your WordPress website is already hosted on a server somewhere. It could be Digital Ocean, WP Engine, Flywheel, GoDaddy, etc.
Here at ZippyWP, we also have the ability to host your website, which we offer exclusively to our page speed clients and is designed for speed.
For our hosted solution, we will help migrate your website to our servers. You pay for web hosting and we include continuous speed improvements as part of that service. This costs $50 per month or $500 per year for the hosting.
For the self-hosted solution, we implement our improvements into your existing website on its current host. Speeds may vary depending on how well optimized your web host is for speed. This costs $400 one-time with an optional $100 per quarter tune-up service.
